Our Ministries

Nurses Ministry seeks to help and assist those in need within the congregation or any of our ministries that are affiliated with Pilgrim Baptist Church for the glory of God.

 

 

Pilgrim Baptist Church Choir Consist of those who desire to sing wonderful praises to the Lord in order to encourage others to love, serve and honor God.

 

Missionary Ministry helps others from afar and encourages others to love, serve and honor God.

Street Evangelism and Witnessing (SWAT) Team is Spreading the Word Around Town of the Gospel of Jesus Christ

 

 

Seniors (citizens) On The Go are a unique group of energetic and vibrant adults over 60 who have the sincere desire to travel, live, serve, and honor God in the best days and years of their life.

 

Discipleship training Classes consist of several significant courses of study that will help the new member(s) to grow stronger in the principles and doctrine of the word of God and know more about the ministries at Pilgrim Baptist Church.

 

Early Morning Prayer Warrior’s Ministry. This band of faithful believers are ones who arrive early for church service to lead in prayer as they pray for all the parishioners and ministries of the church to the glory of God.

 

Greeter’s Ministry is servants within the church who welcome others and provide information in the spirit of hospitality to the glory of God.

 

Volunteers Ministry gather together to share in their spiritual gift of “helps” to assist in the church in any area needed to bring glory to God’s name and to assist our fellow brother in the Lord.

 

Our Ministries

Ushers Ministry consist of servants within the church who relieve the burden of others while walking in the defined role in 1st Corinthians 12:28 as ones who have the gift of “helps” to the glory of God.

 

Campfires ministry follows up with visitors and new members to encourage fellowship with the body of Christ.

 

IKA ministry is open to all people with a desire to serve to the glory of God.

 

 

Mens Ministry is a gathering of Spiritual men and gifted young brothers who meet together to encourage and participate in bible study, breakfasts, go to sporting events, and serve in community events to lift up the name of Jesus.

 

Men’s Choir is those men who are committed to singing praise and giving glory to God to encourage others to love, serve and honor God.

 

Womens Ministry is a gathering of godly women and talented young sisters who meet together to encourage and participate in bible study, meals, attend conferences, and serve in community events to lift up the name of Jesus.

 

Audio/ Visual Production ministry is responsible for capturing special moments in ministry at Pilgrim Baptist Church through video cameras, digital cameras, projectors, screens, and laptop equipment use to the glory of God.

 

IT Media ministry is responsible for keeping computers and the website ministry up to – date and qualitative to the glory of God.

 

Food Pantry Outreach- Monthly our church members donate non -perishable items to give to those that are in need. We also give food out during Thanksgiving & Christmas

 

Praise & Worship Team is responsible for leading the members in singing music that line up with the word of God to bring God glory and praise to HIS name.

Youth Choir is open to all people under 25 years of age who desire to sing wonderful praises to the Lord in order to encourage others to love, serve and honor God.

 

 

Praise Dance by Pilgrim Baptist Church Liturgical Dance Ministry. ages 8 up to 108 are welcome who desire to dance to give honor to the Lord. more>>

 

 

Basketball Ministry, open to all ages, builds friendship and camaraderie among individuals while playing basketball to the glory of God.

 

 

Youth Church is open to all people under 17 years of age.

 

Youth Step (For Jesus) Team consist of youth who have the gift to encourage God’s people to serve and honor God with the gift of dance to the glory of God.

 

Youth Ministry consist of youth under the age of twenty four (24) who participate in fun activities and are responsible for preparing themselves for biblical leadership and spiritual growth in church and in every area of their lives to the glory of God.

 

Youth Bowling Team Ministry meets at the bowling alley to participate in exercise while building friendship and camroderie among each other as they fellowship to the glory of God.
